Hi, I’m Katie
your photographer, hype woman and professional myth-buster.

After nearly 10 years as a wedding photographer watching brilliant women criticize themselves in front of mirrors (even on their wedding day!), I created The Renaissance Room to fix what's actually broken: not your body, but how you've been taught to see it.

What We Do Here:
Drawing inspiration from Renaissance art—when bodies like yours were literally painted as divine—we create portraits that celebrate YOU through the female gaze. No male objectification here- just pure, powerful, "main character” energy. In just one day, we transform "I'm not ready for this" into "DAMN, is that really me?"

HOW IT WORKS

1. LET’S CHAT

First, fill out our contact form and we’ll schedule a phone call to chat about your vision, answer your questions, and make sure The Renaissance Room is a fit for you.

2. BOOK YOUR SESSION

Set your session date, place your $500 deposit & sign your contract. Then, get ready to feel excited - I’ll be cheering you on & sending helpful emails along the way.

3. THE DAY ARRIVES

Arrive at the studio around 9AM and prepare to be papered by our talented hair/makeup artists while you browse our client closet with sizes XXS-3X.

4. THE PHOTOSHOOT

Now is your time to become the art. We’ll get started with your photoshoot mid-morning, and I'll be right there cheering you on through every frame.

5. LUNCH BREAK

Relax and grab lunch for 2-3 hours while I work behind the scenes, editing your images with the same care Renaissance masters put into their paintings.

6. THE IMAGE REVEAL

This is the “HOLY SH*T THAT’S ME” moment - you’ll return to the studio for your same-day image reveal where you'll see yourself as the masterpiece you've always been.
